Michelle & Alex
Michelle grew up in Solva and St Davids, but moved to England to pursue a career in teaching. There, she met Alex, and together they’ve been returning to St Davids for the past thirty years to visit family and enjoy everything Pembrokeshire has to offer. In the autumn of 2024, they visited the Old Coastguard’s House on a whim, fell in love with it, and knew they had to make it theirs. The rest, as the saying goes, is history.
The Art House
Today, the house has been carefully renovated—updated with a few of the comforts of the twenty-first century, while retaining its 200-year-old charm and a surprising amount of personal history. We use it as a base for our creative pursuits, and we hope you’ll find it just as welcoming and inspiring.
